Less and Less is More All the Time
[by Barry Schwartz]
Brevity in writing: the key to clarity. Honest.
Want to get through to your clients? Potential clients?
Make it easy. Make it count. Make it sound professional.
They don’t have enough time. Who does? Contacts with them should be like a good song or movie – no filler. Memorable.
Messages are more compelling delivered straight-up. And short.
Not easy to do, takes some time, but worth it. Don’t take it from me; here’s something a guy wrote in a letter:
“I’m sorry I didn’t have the time to make it short”.
~Marcel Proust
People are still talking about what he wrote.
Barry Schwartz is a photographer, writer, and designer in Los Angeles, who is thrilled and amazed he was able to quote Proust in a blog. www.barryschwartzphotography.com
