I've had 26 bids in the past year, I've won none of them because the client opts for in house or Uncle Joe to shoot it. Literally. I've negotiated down to my " at cost" price just to get the work and still told I am too high. My fifteen year career is quickly becoming a past tense and I am getting forced to look for work at temp agencies just to pay the bills.
