Non photo-centric blogs that get my nod: Photographer Bruce DeBoer (@brucedeboer) writes an absolutely superb blog about creativity. Marketing guru Seth Godin’s blog at is read by just about every member of ASMP’s National board. And for the latest in technology, both current and speculative, check out www.gizmodo.com.
It’s hard to not be inspired to greatness as you view any of the TEDTalks. The TED folks have a blog that I read just so I know when a new recording is posted to the site for viewing. If you’re after some immediate creative inspiration, check out this TED talk.

Of all great recommendations suggested in this post, one that keeps me wondering is that of Seth Godin.
Having read “Tribes”, being subscribed to his blogs and noticing how many times I have read the entire ASMP Board is a full fan of Godin’s work and books, this keeps me wondering time and again, when I ask, what has the National Board has put in use of all those readings?
As I see it, and too many people agree on this, the current Board is dismantling the tribe, exactly the opposite to what Godin praises.
To avoid making this a long post, I will skip the many phrases and statements from “Tribes” I can use to prove my point, but by all means, PLEASE read again the book, because it looks like we are all in a different movie.
