  1. Terrific timing! I just sent out my first email promo today and followed 98% percent of what she talked about here exactly! Of course it helped I had the services of her compatriots to do so, I didn’t put as much emphasis and thought into my subject line or Call to action. Next round I will. Thanks for this ASMP!!!!

  3. I’m an Art Director for an Ad Agency. We get tons of this direct mail. A little advice …don’t send standard postcards. Period.

    Be more creative. Maybe stop sending postcards all together.

    Random quick idea…

    Perhaps a disposable camera, tagged with your business card and a line that says something like, “In the even you don’t have the budget for my services, I went ahead and saved you a trip to Walmart.”
