Architectural Photography Winners to Show at AIA Convention

The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) announced the winners of its juried competition in Architectural Photography. The winning images are now being printed at 24x30 inches on museum-quality rag paper, and they will be displayed throughout the public walkways in the Los Angeles Convention Center during the annual Convention of the American Institute of Architects, to be held June 7-10, 2006. Roughly 24,000 architects and building-industry executives are expected to attend this year's event.

Here is the list of winners, hometowns and the subjects of their photographs:

The large-format printing for the exhibition is being donated by Canon, Inc., using Hannemuhle fine-art paper stock. The competition was sponsored by the Architectural Photography Specialty Group of the ASMP. At the AIA Convention, ASMP volunteers will staff a booth in the exhibit hall (booth 3562) to provide information about professional photography and answer questions from attendees.
