Zane Williams

Zane Willams has earned recognition as a Madison-based, Wisconsin photographer for over 30 years. Working broadly in the editorial arena, he has seen his work published in magazine features on architecture, travel, human interest, performing arts, and the natural, human, and cultural landscape. He has contributed to over a dozen books, three of them solo projects, the most recent MADISON in 2006 under his own imprint--Franklin Street Press. In 1998 his image of a Wisconsin farm scene was chosen for the last 32 cent U.S. postage stamp. Whether images are from his own backyard or far from home, they reveal an ease with his subjects and a directness and clarity that connects immediately with the viewer.
