StartPoint Media, Inc. is a professional photography company providing high quality editorial and documentary assignment photography intended for publication inside and outside of the Pittsburgh market.

We also provide nature photography of the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions.

We are using innovative technology, such as the Gigapan and QTVR, to create interactive architectural, location and editorial photography.

I am a member of the National Press Photographers Association , the American Society of Media Photographers and the Pittsburgh Press Club.

I enjoy working with people who need image flexibility, who are on a deadline and have a great vision for their final product.

I began my career as photojournalist in 2000 at the Steubenville, Ohio Herald-Star. Currently, I am Assistant Professor of photography and photojournalism in Pittsburgh at Point Park University's Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. My hands on teaching approaches allow students to build polished portfolios for professional employment.

In addition to making photographs, I teach people about photography, composition, techniques and equipment everyday. I am available to help you or your group get better results from your digital camera and produce better pictures through hands on teaching.
