ASMP's Online Communities

With members scattered across 50 states and some 40 territories and countries, ASMP relies heavily on electronic communications to keep its members in touch with one another. Online forums and listservs, each serving a particular audience or interest group, are among the most important messaging media today.

Community Courtesy

ASMP is all about high standards of professionalism, on the job and on line. By participating in the forums and listservs, you are implicitly agreeing to abide by the "rules of the road" for the online communities. We ask you to reread your group's rules from time to time — and to observe good netiquette always.

ASMP Leadership List

Chapter officers and Specialty Group chairs are automatically subscribed to a private mailing list for discussion of ASMP organizational issues. The list is moderated to minimize "noise" (e.g., accidental publication of private messages) but the content is not censored. List members can set their format preferences by visiting the ASMPleadership page. (Please note: Attempts to subscribe this list via this page will not work. If you believe you should be part of the list, please contact Christine Chandler in the national office.)
